Admission

Admission Eligibility
  • Freshmen
The applicant and both parents must have non-Korean citizenship (Before the applicant started high school programs, both parents and the applicant had to have non-Korean citizenship).
 
The applicant must have been an international student who has completed or expects to complete high school course studies abroad. Alternatively, the applicant must have been an international student who has completed or expects to complete high school course studies
in a foreign school in Korea.
  • Transfer Students (3rd Year)
The applicant must have completed (or expects to complete) two full academic years (more than four semesters) at a four-year university in Korea or overseas. In the case of a 13th year system (3-year college system) like England, the applicant needs to finish a 2nd year (or 4th semester) and acquire more than 2/3 credits for graduation.
 
The applicant has graduated from, or will graduate from, a two- or three-year college in Korea or overseas.
Nationality
  • An applicant will be disqualified for admission if she or he and her/his parents hold dual citizenship or do not have a citizenship. 
  • If the applicant's nationality is Taiwanese, she or he may apply, even if only one of the parents holds Taiwanese citizenship.
Language Proficiency
  • General(Korean) Track
A. The applicant has earned TOPIK level 3 or above.
B. The applicant has completed Level 4 or higher at KAU’s or other Korean Universities’ Korean Language Education Center.
C. The applicant is considered to have the equivalent Korean language proficiency.
  • Global(English) Track
A. The applicant has earned TOEFL (IBT) 71, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 or above.
B. The applicant has earned EPTA: English Proficiency Test for Aviation) level 4 or above.
C. The applicant is considered to have the equivalent English language proficiency.
